Mr. Richard Dale Frye, Sr., was born August 21, 1940. He passed away March 13, 2018 at the age of 77. He was the owner of Frye and Son Construction and a member of New Prospect Baptist Church, Haleyville. He was also involved with the Shriners, Lions Club and Masons.
Visitation is Friday, March 16, 2018 from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home, Haleyville. Funeral service is Saturday, March 17, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Dr. Ron Horton officiating. Burial in Winston Memorial Cemetery.
He is survived by his children, Richard D. Frye, Jr. (Christy), Patricia Hilbrick (Earl), Fred Frye (Tina), Mary Stokes (Charlie); several step brothers and sisters; grandchildren, Rick, Autumn, Jeremy, C.J., Ashley, Chris, Casey and Tiffany; 11 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Glen D. and Ruth Lidgard Frye; wife, Donna Jean Frye; sisters, Mary Torgeson and Glenda Curler
