With hearts full of sorrow, we mourn the untimely passing of Larry Herring, 66, of Gulfport, MS, who went to his heavenly home on Sunday, March 11, 2018 in Columbia, TN.
Larry was born in Gulfport, MS to James and Hester Herring on July 2, 1951. He was a graduate of Harrison Central High School and a member of The International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 903. Larry enjoyed building, working on his projects, and spending time with his grandchildren.
He will be forever remembered by his mother, Hester Herring; brother, Ronnie Herring and wife Ginny; brother in law, Ricky Dodd; his children, Jeremy Herring and partner Emmalee, Ashley Hicks and husband Robert, and Hollee Gable and husband Caleb; his grandchildren Maddie Hicks, Lane and Kase Gable, Brooklyn and Kolby Dodd, and his dearest friend Deborah Baggett.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Herring; wife, Connie Herring; and grandson, Brandt Gable.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Maury Regional Hospital and Kate Boshers. We are eternally grateful for her compassionate efforts during this difficult time.
Visitation will be at Nugent Methodist Church on John Clark Rd in Gulfport, MS on Saturday March 17, 2018 from 2:00 to 3:00 PM with memorial services following at 3:00 PM officiated by Rev. Ricky Reece.
