Jerry Clayton Nix, age 80, formerly of Russellville, passed away on Friday, February 02, 2018 in Birmingham.
Mr. Nix proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. He worked for years as a real estate agent.
The visitation will be 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 06, 2018 at Spry Memorial Chapel. A graveside service will be held at 11:30 Tuesday, February 06, 2018 at Liberty Hill Cemetery in Phil Campbell.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence Steve Nix and Bonnie Mashburn Jakubowski; and sister, Betty Nix Kinnas.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his children, Dawn DeVries Peters, Karen Nix Geary, Jason Scott Nix, Darren Michael Nix; and great-grandchildren, John Patrick Lister, Mark Corey Lister, Ava Nicole Geary, Dylan Thomas Geary, Dakota Steven Nix, Landon Scott Nix; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Spry Memorial Chapel assisted the family.
