Mrs. Frances Nell Herston, age 69, of Franklin, Ky. entered into rest Saturday, Sept. 22, 2012, at the Hospice House in Bowling Green, Ky.
Visitation will be Tuesday, Sept. 25, 4-9 p.m., at Spry-Williams Funeral Home, Florence, Ala. The funeral service will be Wednesday, Sept. 26, 1 p.m., in the funeral home chapel. There will also be a visitation at Booker-Gilbert Funeral Home in Franklin, Ky., on Monday, Sept.r 24, 5-9 p.m. Interment will be at Butler Cemetery in Elgin, Ala.
Mrs. Herston was a native of Florence, Ala. She attended Hollis Chapel General Baptist Church and was a member of Franklin Homemakers Club.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Elzie Brewer and Lucille Balentine Brewer; husband, William T. Herston, Sr.; and her brother, Ray Brewer.
Survivors include son, William “Bill” Herston, Jr., of Franklin, Ky.; daughter, Christi Herston Towe (Chris), of Portland, Tenn.; grandchildren, Allie and Maddie Towe, and Hanna Herston; sister, Judy Allen, of Florence, Ala.; brother, Ronnie Brewer, of Florence, Ala.
