Annie Pauline Dean Cagle passed away Tuesday January 23, 2018 at Valley View Nursing Home at the age of 95. She was a lifelong resident of Huntsville. She was preceded in death by parents Pluitt Dean Sr. /Pearl Dean, husband Otis Edward Cagle, step-son James Woodrow Cagle, brother Pluitt Dean Jr., sisters Vergie Dean Smithey, Jean Simmons Sharpe.
She is survived by her daughter Peggy Cagle Whitt/Randall, granddaughter Karen Whitt Campbell/Heath, great-grand daughter Nicole Wilson Stubbs/Jeff, great-great grandson Gavin Stubbs, sister Eva Dean Simmons, brother James Dean/Pearl, special friends Lee Fisher and Dorothy Gilliam.
The family extends a special thanks to the staff at Valley View Nursing Home. Spry Funeral Home is assisting the family. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 12:00pm until 1:30pm on Thursday, January 25, 2018 with graveside services to follow at 2:00pm in Maple Hill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
