Lance Matthew Childers, 43, died Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at North Ms. Medical Center, Tupelo, MS. He was born March 9, 1974 in Haleyville, AL and worked in tire assembly at Cooper Tire, Tupelo, MS. He was a member of Single Springs Missionary Baptist Church, Vina, AL.
Services will be Thursday, January 11, 12 noon at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, AL with Bro. Patrick Sutton and Bro. Andy Barnett officiating. Burial will be in Bethlehem Cemetery, Hamilton, AL. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL will be in charge of arrangements.
He is survived by his wife – Joanna Childers, Red Bay, AL; one daughter – Christabella Childers, Red Bay, AL; his mother – Madrene Miller Childers; two brothers – Michael Childers and wife, Tina Childers and Phillip Childers and wife, Carol Childers and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Luther Mack Childers and a brother, David Mark Childers.
Pallbearers will be Luke Childers, Judd Childers, Skylar King, Brian Davis, Ryan Manasco and Derrick Jackson.
Visitation will be Wednesday, January 10, 6-9 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL.
