Sid Brannon – Obituary

Sid Brannon, 83, of Huntsville, passed away Friday. Mr. Brannon was a native of Georgia. He enlisted in the Air Force in 1954 and was stationed at Hondo Air Force Base in Hondo, TX where he received an honorable discharge. He later moved to Birmingham where he began his civilian career with Alabama Power, while pursuing a Computer Science degree from the University of Alabama.  He joined the Army National Guard and served for many years, achieving the rank of CW4.

Survivors include his wife, Bonnie Brannon; sons, Scott Brannon and wife, Tonya, and Christopher Brannon; and grandchildren, Elise, Josh and Kaitlyn.

A private service will be held.
