Funeral for Sharon Nix Jetton, 76, of Hillsboro will be Monday, October 9, 2017, at Harmony Baptist Church, at 3:00 PM with Rev. Barry Cater and Rev. John Evans officiating and Parkway Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in East Lawrence Memorial Gardens . Visitation will be two hours before the service at the church. Mrs. Jetton, who passed away peacefully into the arms of our Lord, October 7, 2017 at her home was born, November 6, 1940, to Homer E. Nix and Mamie Reese Nix. She was a member of Harmony Baptist Church and retired from Fluor Daniel as a time keeper/payroll clerk for 21 years .
She was preceded in death by her parents, Brother Homer E. Nix, Jr.
2 Sisters, JoAnn Watt and Bobbie Jean Nix
Survivors include:
Husband Jerry Jetton
Daughter – Carol Land (Keith) Hicks
Sister – Betty Nix
Sharon will be missed by Sissy Girl, her 14 year old feline baby.
Pallbearers will be Ron Bodine, Danny Couey, Bobby Mize, Larry Reed, Larry Last and Winford Stewart.
Honorary pallbearer will be Tate Shelton whom Sharon loved dearly.
