Jamie J. Johnson age 55 of Dora, passed away Friday July 7, 2017 at his residence. He was a graduate of Dora High School, class of 1980; was retired from Dictation Equipment Co. and was instrumental in the daily operation of Jean’s on the River restaurant.
Funeral services will be Tuesday July 11, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. in the New Horizon Memorial Chapel. Rev. Tim Turney will officiate. Burial will follow at Shady Grove Cemetery in Bremen. Visitation is Tuesday from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
He was preceded in death by his mother and stepfather, Jean and Charlie Langley ; nephew, Jimmy Johnson; grandparents, Dewey and Nellie Light and mother in law, Dixie Phillips.
Survivors include his sons, Matthew Johnson (Kellie) and Nic Johnson; wife, Vicky Johnson; father, Fred Johnson; sisters, Becky Johnson and Darlene Tolbert (Danny); several aunts, uncles, other relatives and many friends.
