Mrs. Doris Larson, age 85, of Decatur, died Thursday, June 1, 2017, at Riverside Senior Living. She was born July 27, 1931, in Florence, KS to John R. Smithheisler and Myrtle Smith Smithheisler. She was retired from the Wichita, Kansas Board of Education, where she worked in Administration.
She is survived by two sons, Bruce Loder (Linda) of San Antonio, TX, and Carl Loder of Wichita, KS; one daughter, Becky Rieniets (Harold) of Decatur; two sisters, Wilma Pearse of Salina, KS, and Ruth Winter (Richard) of Wichita, KS; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, and nieces.
Arrangements for a Memorial Service will be announced at a later date.
