Edward “Eddie” Overbey 58, of Corinth, passed away at his residence of Friday, April 28, 2017. A celebration of life memorial service is set for 6:30pm, Monday, May 1, 2017 at Magnolia Funeral Home Chapel of Memories. The family will receive friends in a time of visitation beginning at 4:00pm until service time on Monday. Eddie was born February 17, 1959 in Marked Tree, AR, and worked as Store Manager for Piggly Wiggly and Dollar General and was a truck driver for the C.F.I. Corporation. He is survived by his parents, Norman Michael and Brenda Grace Michael of Corinth, MS; son, Jason Overbey (Shannon) of Kossuth, MS; daughters, Heather Boyer (William) of Glen, MS; Kailey Whirley (Jeremy) of Iuka, MS; Elizabeth Overbey of Ramer, TN; step-son, Matt Smith (Anna) of Selmer, TN; grandchildren, Christian Morgan, Allie Morgan, Harper Whirley, Emmalyn Boyer, Mason Whirley and Wyatt Boyer; brother, Danny Overbey of Walnut, MS; sister, Phyllis Watts of Adamsville, TN; nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
