Brian “Woody” Wood – Obituary

Brian “Woody” Wood, 43, of Russellville, AL passed away Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at his home. He was a lifelong resident of Franklin County and a graduate of Russellville High School. He served his country in the U.S. Navy. He owned Woody’s Electric of Russellville and was known for his excellent customer service and work ethic. He was a Christian and a member of Belgreen Baptist Church, Russellville.
Visitation for Mr. Wood will be Friday, April 14, 2017 from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home, Russellville. Funeral Services will be Saturday, April 15 at 2:00 P.M. at Pinkard Funeral Home Chapel. Officiating will be Pat Murray, Randy Brackin, and Paul Wilbanks. Burial will be in Belgreen Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Shane McCormick, Keith Oglesby, Jay Musgrove, Ben Fisher, T. J. Bragwell, and Jason Oliver.
Mr. Wood is survived by his wife MiMi Wood; children: Brianna Wood, Bailey Wood, Jaxon Wood, Mason Donahoe, and Will Donahoe; father and mother-in-law, Steve and Pat Bragwell; brother-in-law, Niven McInnish; and stepmother, Linda Wood, all of Russellville; brother, Keith Wood of Waterloo; and nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Phillip and Willie Wood.
The family express a special “thank you” to friends, family and surrounding communities for their overwhelming support and love during this most difficult time of Woody’s illness and death.
