Hillard Holt, age 87 of Muscle Shoals died Thursday, March 23, 2017. Visitation will be Sunday, 1:30-3:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. His funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Doug Farris officiating. Burial will be in Colbert Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Holt was a native of Colbert County and a member of Muscle Shoals Baptist Church. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army, serving in Germany during the Korean War.
Survivors include his sons; Clifford Ray Holt (Theresa), Cecil Howard Holt (Tresa); daughter, Deborah Jane Van Kauwenberg; sister, Annie Mae Woods; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be family and great-grandsons will be honorary pallbearers.
The family expresses special thanks to Compassus Hospice and to Donna Clark, Norma Mashburn and Julia Craft.
