Funeral Service for Sylvia Ferguson Watts, 82 of Decatur will be Monday, February 20, 2017 at 1:30PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ben Bates officiating with burial in Roselawn Cemetery and Peck Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Sunday from 2:00-6:00 at the funeral home.
Mrs. Watts was born May 21, 1934 in Hartselle, AL in the New Center Community to Andrew Newt Ferguson and Eva Mary Lou Planais Ferguson. She passed away Saturday February 18, 2017 at her residence. The youngest of nine children she moved to Decatur in 1954. She was an active cosmetologist for 26 years. An active member of New Center Baptist Church where she was the pianist. She was retired from Walmart. She was preceded in death by husband, Everett B. Watts. One Son, James A. Anders, Jr. (Jimmy). Parents, Andrew Newt Ferguson and Eva Mary Lou Planais Ferguson.
