Sandra Kaye Woodis, age 66 of Danville, KY died Saturday, January 14, 2017.
Her family will receive friends Wednesday, January 18, 2017, 10-12 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. Her funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel with Barrett Long officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Tuscumbia.
Sandra was a Colbert County native. She was a registered nurse and served as Director of Surgery at Shoals Hospital in Muscle Shoals, Memorial Hospital of Chattanooga, TN, and Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital of Somerset, KY. Sandra was preceded in death by her parents, Elbert F. and Gladys Davis, son, Daniel Dobbs and mother-in-law, Louise Woodis.
She is survived by her husband of thirty-four years, James Woodis, son, Matthew Woodis (Meagan), daughter, Sarah Woodis, step-children, Chris Woodis (Kim), Stephanie Sosbee, and Jason Tyson, brother, Farley Davis, and sisters, Debbie Fauver, Dana Shell, Susan Brown, and nine grandchildren.
Pallbearers are Matthew Woodis, Farley Davis, Joshua Brown, Chris Woodis, Jason Tyson, Keith Brown, Andrew Fauver and Jerry Fauver.
