Betty Jo Cottles, age 71, of Florence, passed away Feb. 12, 2016. Visitation will be Sunday, Feb. 14, from 1–3 p.m. at Spry-Williams Funeral Home, Florence. The funeral will follow at 3 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Brother Jeff Putman officiating. Burial will be at Barkley Cemetery.
Jo was preceded in death by her husband, Jackie Hendrix Sr. She is survived by her children, Davey (Denise) Cottles, Pam Cottles, Kimberly (Lance) Weaver, Juanita (Greg) Burnett, Jackie (Debra) Hendrix, and Kim (Chris) Williams; siblings, Lois, Randall, Glenda Mae, Jerry Wayne, Shirley, and Barbara; grandchildren, Crystal (Joe) Isbell, Cain (Candace) Miller, Candi (Josh) Ingrum, Nikki and Kaley Weaver, and Mackenzie Cottles; and seven great-grandchildren.
Jo was a kind and loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, who will be greatly missed.
Pallbearers will be Cain Miller, Joe Isbell, Josh Ingrum, Clay Cottles, Justin Jaynes and Bobby Hendrix.
The family would like to express their appreciation to Drs. Lyman Mitchell and Felix Morris for the excellent care provided to their mother.
