Ruby Nell Davis Dawson 92, of Hartselle,AL died Thursday, June 18, 2015 at Summerford Nursing Home, Falkville, Alabama.
Born Saturday, March 17, 1923 in Prospect, TN, she was the daughter of the late Charlie Davis and Dezzie Hargrove Davis. She loved flowers, and most of all her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, 2 borthers, Thomas Davis and Houston “Dick” Davis and 1 sister, Elizabeth Hargrove.
She is survived by her son, Dennis (Teresa) Dawson, Decatur, AL, Daughter Wanda (Glenn) Thompson, Hartselle, AL, 6 Grandchildren, Peter (Dawn) Dawson, Lea (Steven) Poole, Matt (Tandran) Dawson, Beth Anne (Adam) Loudermilk, Ashley (Ben) Hodges, and Cline Thompson, 8 Great-Grandchildren, Bradley and Aiden Poole, Chandler and Cameron Dawson, Hudson and Davis Loudermilk, Parker and Peyton Hodges, Sister, Ann Gates, Hartselle, AL.
Visitation will be Saturday, June 20, 2015 at Pettusville United Methodist Church, Elkmont ,AL from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM.
Graveside Service will be Saturday, June 20, 2015 at Pettusville Cemetery, Elkmont, AL, at 11:00 AM with Judge Glenn Thompson officiating. Burial will be in Pettusville Cemetery, Elkmont, AL.
