Lowell T. Gober – Obituary

Lowell T. Gober, 80, Red Bay, Alabama passed away Sunday, March 29, 2015 at Helen Keller Hospital.

He was a lifetime resident of Franklin County and member of New Bethel Baptist Church in Belmont, Mississippi. He served three terms on the Red Bay City Council. He was retired from Deaton Funeral Home where he was an embalmer and funeral director for 27 years.

Funeral service will be Tuesday, March 31, 2015, 2 p.m. at New Bethel Baptist Church in Belmont, Mississippi with Bro. Danny Stanford and Bro. Brian Weems officiating. Burial will be in Old Burleson Cemetery. Visitation will be prior to the service from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the church.

Survivors include wife, Bonnie S. Gober; son, L. T. (Bonnie) Gober; grandchildren, Leslie ((Michael) Thorne, Greg (Lauren) Gober; great-granddaughter, Libby Thorne; brothers and sisters, Dorvan Gober, Fayrene G. Tate, Shirley G. Springer, Orville Gober, Marie G. Seal, Ronald Gober; several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Alton Hester, Randy Hester, Mike Montgomery, Ricky Young, Scott Seal and Robert Gober.
