Alabama Tourism’s Debbie Wilson introduces “The Year of Alabama BBQ”
THE SHOALS – It is common knowledge that The Shoals has the best barbecue, not only in Alabama, but in the whole South… So the folks at the Colbert County and the Florence/Lauderdale Tourism offices held a media event down on the river to kick off “The Year of Alabama Barbecue” campaign. Local BBQ places are among the best the State has to offer.

Alabama Department of Tourism Representative for North Alabama, Debbie Wilson was on hand to introduce the pit masters to members of local government and the news media. Wilson and the Tourism Departments even had some great BBQ on hand to sample.
