MUSCLE SHOALS-On Friday, October 17th Muscle Shoals Schools  had a ribbon cutting and Grand Opening for their newest addition to the school system.  Muscle Shoals Career Academy’s new campus located at 321 Broad Street in Muscle Shoals.  There was a grand tour of the new facility, speeches by proud Educators and Civic Leaders, music from the Muscle Shoals High School and a ribbon cutting to celebrate a wonderful addition to the Shoals. The Shoals Chamber was there as well to help with the celebration and ribbon cutting.

“Muscle Shoals Career Academy is focused on career and technical education that contributes significantly to the educational development of students into productive citizens. Â We strive to provide all students with an instructional program that is student centered, technically innovative, and industry based. Â In the past six years, our Academy has nearly tripled its enrollment. Â This year, our students have earned 1,029 credit hours through our dual enrollment partnership with Northwest Shoals Community College and have earned more than 800 employability certifications.”
