Floyd Wayne Bentley age 59 , of Tuscumbia, AL , passed away Tuesday September 16, 2014. Visitation will be Thursday September 18, from 12-2 p. at Colbert Memorial Chapel. Graveside service will follow at 3:00 p.m. in Greenview Memorial Park . Officiating Honorable Steve Graham.
Colbert Memorial Chapel is assisting the family.
He was preceded in death by his parents Clovis and Thelma Bentley; sister: Glenda Smith, brother: Randy Bentley, and nephew Jonathan Smith.
Survivors are his wonderful wife of 26 years Susan Bentley.
Son: Andrew Wayne Bentley (Brandi), daughter: Mandy LaJuan Bentley Bates (Tim), sister: Laura Jayne Bentley, grand-children Hannah, Harrison, Madelyn, Logan, and Lily, nieces: Sherry, Lindsay (Lane), nephews: David (Kim), Zachary (Holly) Special companion, Charles his Labradoodle
Pallbearers are Johnny Wright, Cam Wilkerson, Sam Landrum, David Warren, Zachary Warren and Gary Pellam.
Honorary pallbearers will be Bob Johnson Gil Butler, Dough Parker, Michael Dembrek, Vince Menoz, Michael Baron, Harold Foster and Dale Holbrook.
Wayne was vice-president at Westinghouse Electric company in the Nuclear department for 15 years plus.
