Joseph C. Sieja, 53, of Madison, passed away Friday. Joe was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Dorothy Sieja. He was employed as an Electrical Engineer with Adtran, and was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. Joe enjoyed hunting, competition barbecuing, boating, fixing things and helping others.
Survivors include his wife, Connie Dyer Sieja; daughter, Susan Elizabeth Sieja; sons, Matthew Edward Sieja and Daniel William Sieja, all of Madison; sister, Helen Sieja Garrard (Louis) of Ponte Vedra Beach, FL; brothers, Edward Sieja (Jo) of Madison, John and Jim Sieja, both of Huntsville, and Tom Sieja (Linda) and Paul Sieja (Stephanie) all of Madison; and thirteen nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Laughlin Service Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church with Father Phil OโKennedy officiating. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery, Inc.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The American Cancer Society or St. John Paul II Catholic High School.ย
