Minnie Pearl Nelson, age 72, of Ethridge, Tennessee passed away Friday June 13, 2014 at her home.
Minnie was born on October 27, 1941 to the late Looney and Bertha Chapman in Giles County, Tennessee. She was a loving mother and fit the Biblical description of a virtuous woman. Minnie was greatly loved by her family.
The family will visit with friends on Sunday, June 15, 2014 from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Monday, June 16, 2014 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant, Tennessee. Funeral services will be conducted at Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant Monday, June 16, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. with Theodore Durham officiating. Burial will follow at Lawrence County Memorial Gardens in Ethridge, Tennessee.
Minnie is survived by her daughters: Brenda (Billy) Adams of Ethridge, Tennessee, Theresa (Ray) Chandler of Ethridge, Tennessee, Angela (Mark) Tignor of Columbia, Tennessee, and Denise Gladden of Ethridge, Tennessee; grandsons: Brandon “Cobbleknot” Adams, Landon “Squeeze” Adams, Jonathan Chappell, Jagger Gladden, Justin Isbell, and Derek Feldt; granddaughter Jasmine Busby; 10 great-grandchildren; brothers: Forace Chapman, Marvin Chapman, and Hazel Chapman; and special friend Franklin Nelson and “Lady” Nelson.
Pallbearers are Jonathan Chappell, Derek Feldt, Brandon Adams, Hunter Adams, Billy Adams, and Jagger Gladden.
