BBB Announces FREE Fraud Summit on April 12 in Athens

Data breaches, phishing, smishing, internet, phone and mail scams, door to door scams, Medicare and other medical fraud, identity theft, home repair scams……The list goes on.  Learn how YOU can be your own first line of defense against becoming a fraudvictim from an expert panel at a FREE event.

The Better Business Bureau, in partnership with Athens-Limestone Hospital, will be hosting Fraud Summit 2014 on Saturday, April 12 from Noon until 2:00 PM at First Presbyterian Church on the Athens courthouse square (112 South Jefferson St.)  Lunch will be served.

The free event will be held in conjunction with Athens-Limestone Hospital’s annual Health, Hope and Healing Health Fair around the Square which will be held from 9 a.m. until 12:30 p.m.  The public is invited to attend both of these free events which are provided to the community to keep you and your money safe and healthy.  In the event of inclement weather, the Health Fair will be canceled. The Fraud Summit will be held rain or shine.
