Lucille Roebuck, 98, of Huntsville, went to be with the Lord on Monday. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Leland Roebuck, her parents and several siblings.
Survivors include daughters, Caryl Jones (Larry) and Judith Smith (Ron); sister, Lois Sanborn; grandchildren, Mark McMillen (Christy), Dr. Steve Jones (Becky), Leilani Yannone (Joe) and Rev. Jeff Jones (Christy); great-grandchildren, Katelyn, Matthew, Collin, Meaghan, Michael, Caleb, Mark and Alia; and great-great-grandson, Logan.
She served several Church of the Nazarene congregations as a devoted minister’s wife and was a committed and loving mother, grandmother and homemaker. She had longstanding friendships in Old Hickory, TN, Georgetown, KY and many other cities. She will be greatly missed by many at Southern Estates and Brookdale as well as by numerous other friends and loving family members.
Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at Laughlin Service Funeral Home. The funeral service will immediately follow in the chapel with the Rev. Jeff Jones and the Rev. Scott Lowry officiating. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery, Inc.
