Funeral services for Mr. Alton “Junior” Myracle, age 86, are scheduled for 11:00 AM, Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at Sand Ridge Baptist Church with Bro. Keith Runyon and Rev. Marty Comer officiating. Interment will follow in Henderson County Memory Gardens. Pafford Funeral Home of Lexington is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Myracle passed away Monday. He was born September 14, 1926 in Henderson County to the late George Alton and Nellie Roberts Myracle. He was a WWII U.S. Army Veteran, retired rural mail carrier, and a farmer. He loved fishing of all types and in his younger days, enjoyed racing. He was preceded in death by three sisters, Jenelle Thomas, Jewell Harris, and Jean Gross. Survivors include his two sons, Barney (Pam) Myracle and Dudley (Gina) Myracle of Lexington, his daughter, Teresa (Frank) Clark of Union City, a brother, Buck Myracle of Huron, two sisters, Louise Normand of Mansura, LA and Martha Blaine of Hot Springs, AR, six grandchildren, Brad Myracle, Jeanna Cocke, Reed Clark, Ross Clark, Molly Britt, and Allison Cummins, and eight great grandchildren
