Zettie Lee Wilson was born August 11, 1930 in Selmer, TN the daughter of the late Tolby Ray and Rosa Flowers Ray. She departed this life on July 16, 2023 in Panama City, Florida at the age of 92 Years, 11 Months, 5 Days. She was married to the late Rev. Joel Wilson for 48 years.
Zettie was the best mom you could have ever asked for. In her younger days, she enjoyed going to Church, hosting ice cream socials, and singing in the choir. She loved to go out to eat, traveling, shopping, and just being out and about. She had a wonderful sense of humor and was fun to be around. She always made the best of any situation and found joy in each day. She will be dearly missed by her family, friends, and all of the truly compassionate people who cared for her at St. Andrews (especially Clay).
She is survived by three daughters: Debbie Sowell (Roy) of Panama City, FL, Shirley Ingraham (Eric) of Germantown, TN, Wilma King (Tom) of Vinton, VA; a son, Robert Wilson (Pam) of Columbus, OH; eight grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren; a dear sister-in-law (Johnny); and many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends who are broken hearted.
