Zena Marvouline Risher – Obituary

Memorial service for Zena Marvouline Risher, 85, of Decatur, will be Wednesday, March 6, 2013, at 2 p.m., at New Antioch Church of Christ with Brother Bill Becker officiating and Parkway Funeral Home directing.

Mrs. Risher was a life long member of the Church of Christ. She was also a hairdresser. She died on March 2, 2013, at River City Rehab Center. She was born on September 23, 1927, in Paragould, Arkansas to the late Florence Cox and Jeff Cox. She is preceded in death by her parents; and her sister, Kathleen Booth.

Mrs. Risher is survived by her daughter, Janenda Salgado of Las Lunas, New Mexico; one brother, C.L. Cox; two sisters, Aletrus Batey and Lucille Hinton; six grandchildren, Wendy Booth, Nika Booth, Benita Salgado, Maricruz Salgado, Marcos Romero and Nina Dixon; and four great-grandchildren, Rodrigo Pacheco, Bella Dixon, Nadia Romero, and Eva Dixon.

Memorial gifts may be made to the Children’s Home in Paragould, Arkansas.
