Zella Mae Parks, age 84, of Winchester, Tennessee, passed away from this life on Friday, November 17, 2023, at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Zella was a native resident of Franklin County, she was born on May 3, 1939, the daughter of the late Charlie and Annie Mae Clark. She was a devoted member of Marble Plains Baptist Church. She was such a caring and loving person, which was exemplified throughout her career as a nurse. She was a prayer warrior and enjoyed reading her bible and was an excellent cook.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by parents, Charlie and Annie Clark; siblings, Floyd Clark and Christine Clark Carter. She is survived by her loving husband of 68 years, Billy M. Parks; children, Bob (Vickie) Parks, Billy (Gladys) Parks, Angie (James) Cantrell, and Melissa Parks (Robert Ford); grandchildren, Scott Parks, Cory (Audra) Parks, Amy Parks, Jessica (Jason) Montgomery, Sheena (David) Thompson, and Greg (Leslie) Jones; great grandchildren, Hunter Throneberry, Makai Parks, Carson Thompson, Abby Montgomery, Tucker Jones, Walker Jones, Ryder Jones, Carter Jones, Sophie Parks.
A private family service will be held.
