Yuell Alfred Creasy, age 93 lifelong resident of Spring Valley, died Sunday, May 18, 2014. His family will receive friends Tuesday, 10-12 noon at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. His funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Guy Estave officiating. Burial will be in Colbert Memorial Gardens. Mr. Creasy was a member of Mt. Moriah Baptist Church and served in the Navy during WWII. He was preceded in death by his parents; Marion and Viola Montgomery Creasy, his wife, Susie Allen Creasy, and sons, David and Dennis Creasy. He was happiest on the river with his wife Susie. He is survived by his brothers and sisters; Jewel Sullivan, Pat Moore, and Paul Creasy; grandchildren, Melissa Burgett, David Creasy Jr., and Heather Black; five great-grandchildren, Matthew Burgett, Erika Creasy, Koral, Beau and Brock Black. Pallbearers are David Creasy Jr., Matthew Burgett, Beau and Brock Black, Clayton Moore and Paul Creasy.
