Y.C. Crumpton, age 91, Haleyville, AL. passed away Friday August 31, 2012. He served in the Army during WWII and was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Haleyville. Visitation will be Sunday, September 2, 2012 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home, Haleyville. Funeral service will be Monday September 3, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Dr. Don Knight, Dr. Sherman Kimbrough and Dr. Joe Holmes officiating. Burial will follow at Littleville Cemetery. Mr. Crumpton is survived by his children, Donald (Faye) Crumpton, Arnold (Joyce) Crumpton, Linda Crumpton Swann, Ronald (Freda) Crumpton, Steve Crumpton, Richard (Dianne) Crumpton, and Gina Crumpton (Kenny) Clay; sister, Lula Faye Crumpton Cook; 17 grandchildren; 35 great grandchildren; and 8 great great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Amos Crumpton and Rosa Washburn Crumpton; wife, Lois Taylor Crumpton; sister, Alta Vee Morgan; son in law, Bill Swann, Sr.; and granddaughter, Ronda Anette Crumpton.
