Wydene Brisendine, 96, of Fort Payne, passed away Friday, March 17, 2023. She was born July 15, 1926 to the late Johnnie Casey and Minnie S. Thompson Casey. She was a member of Union Hill Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. Ronnie Highfield and Rev. Tim Scott officiating. Burial will follow in Union Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 4 until 7 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home.
She is survived by her children Jerry Brisendine (Diana), Danny Brisendine (Debra), Pat Mitchell (Randy), and Lane Brisendine (Bobby); grandchildren Lynn, Kendra, Tabitha, Jerri Lee, Kimberly, Lana, Jill, Lee, Gwen, and Scott; 17 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years Grady Brisendine and siblings Claude, Jake, and Orville Casey, Ruby Clarity, Lenore Thompson, and Lynette Brisendine.
Wilson Funeral Home and Crematory of Fort Payne is in charge of arrangements.
