FLORENCE-Woodwind ensemble, Elicio Winds from Auburn University, will perform at the Frank Lloyd Wright Rosenbaum House on Sunday, April 2 at 1:00pm. Bring your lawn chairs and picnic blankets or take a tour as these talented musicians fill the space with their music. This performance will last from 1:00-2:00pm and is free to the public.

Elicio Winds will be performing an original composition entitled Usonian Games by renowned composer Margi Griebling-Haigh. Inspired by the architecture of Frank Lloyd Wright’s only Alabama Usonian, Griebling-Haigh conceived a musical work that would capture the organic and accessible nature of the design in three movements. What better place to debut Usonian Games than at the source of its inspiration, the Rosenbaum House.

The creation and performance of this modern and playful piece has been made possible by the support of the Alabama State Council for the Arts, the Draughon Center for the Arts and Humanities, and Florence City Arts and Museums.

The Rosenbaum House is located at 601 Riverview Dr. in Florence, 35630. The museum is open for tours Tuesday – Saturday from 10 to 4 and on Sunday from 1 to 4. Parking is across the street from the house.
