Woodrow “Shorty” Sellars, 74, passed away Wednesday, November 15, 2023, at Courtyards Community Living Center in Fulton. He was born February 15, 1949 to the late Cecil M. Sellars and the late Nettie Mae Sellars Dill. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and working on all types of vehicles and lawn mowers. Woodrow loved being outdoors, taking care of animals on his farm and spending time with his family.
Services will be at 2 pm on Saturday November 18, 2023 at Senter Funeral Home with Bro. Venison Sellars, and Bro. Billy Burleson officiating. Burial will be in Center Star Methodist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 am – 2 pm on Saturday November 18 at Senter Funeral Home.
Senter Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
He is survived by his daughter, Christy (Christopher) Moss of Mantachie, sons; Adam (Jessica) Sellars of Booneville, and Timothy (Brandie) Sellars of Fulton, 13 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, brothers; Bobby (Barbara) Sellars of Saltillo, and Vinison (Linda) Sellars of Mantachie, and sister, Lisa Mae Sellars of Mantachie.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Christine Dill Sellars, father, Cecil M. Sellars, mother, Nettie Mae Sellars Dill, brother, Johnny Sellars, and a sister, Tammy Lancaster.
Pallbearers will be Dewayne Moss, Cameron Moss, Dalton Sellars, Arron Dildy, Britt Sheffield, Kevin Ashcraft, Jody McDonald, and Buddy McDonald.
