Woodrow Mansell, age 79, of Russellville, passed away on Thursday, October 12, 2023, at his residence.

Mr. Mansell courageously served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam era.  He worked for years as a nuclear machinist at TVA.  He loved going fishing with his wife before her death and he was an avid deer hunter.  He was the best husband and dad ever, always making sure his family was taken care of.  He would do anything for his daughters.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his daughters, Tammy Mansell Beaver (husband, Danny), Annette Mansell Keeton; grandchildren, Carolann Scurlock (Brad), Robert Woodrow Whitten, Austin Whitten (Chrislyn), Bayley Mansell; great-grandchildren, Isabelle White, Nevaeh Dennis, Charley Rose Whitten, Tessa Whitten, Allison White; several brothers and sisters; and a host of nieces & nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Charlotte Ann Mansell; grandson, Cody Eugene Yearwood; parents, Wallace Woodroe Mansell & Mary Hattie Lee and several brothers & sisters.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

The family would like to thank Tanner Steele, who was like a grandson to Mr. Mansell for the love and care shown to him.

Spry Memorial Chapel assisted the family.
