TENNESSEE VALLEY-Yet another round of wintry weather will hit North Alabama on Sunday, February 22. Cold air returns bring a slight chance of a wintry mix which should change to snow near midnight. Here are the models from the National Weather Service for Sunday:
A wintry mix of precipitation is expected tonight, changing to all snow after midnight. There is a chance for rain and sleet generally south of the Tennessee River while sleet and snow are expected generally north of the Tennessee River. Light snow and sleet accumulations are forecast with a dusting to 0.50 inches possible. Overnight lows are expected to be in the mid to upper 20s north and close to 30 degrees south
