Age 86 of White House passed away on Wednesday, March 2, 2022 at her home. Yvonne was born in Nashville, TN on June 4, 1935 to the late Jimmy and Winifred Rhea Hall. Yvonne married Roy Mitchell on March 15, 1954. They lived in Orlando, FL, Washington, D.C. and Anchorage, AK, while Roy was in the U.S. Air Force. They returned home to Nashville in 1978. Yvonne drove a school bus for years and was retired from the U.S. Postal Service. She was always a happy person and was known for signing her signature with a smiley face. She was a member of Cherry Mound Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by daughters, Tamara Lynn, Deborah Yvonne and son, Jerry Keith; brother, James D. Hall; sisters, Doris Jean Moran and JoAnn Jacob. She is survived by her loving husband, Roy; daughters, Terri Mitchell and Janica (David) Brink; brother, B.R. (Linda) Hall; brother-in-law, Willie Jacob; grandchildren, Kori, Brandi, Jodi (Dustin), Sunday, Dru and Skye; great-grandchildren, Kayli, Dillon, Kaveri, Logan, Blake, Serenity and Tristan; a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral service is scheduled for Monday, March 7, 2022 at 2pm in the chapel of Austin & Bell Funeral Home in White House with Jacob Oldham and Pastor Greg Young officiating. Interment will follow in White House Memorial Gardens with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Visitation is planned for Sunday, March 6, 2022 4-8PM and Monday, March 7, 2022 12pm-2PM at the funeral home.
