Funeral service for Wilta “June” Walling, 80, will be Monday, October 9, 2023, at 11:00 AM at Peck Funeral Home with Bro. Stephen Cannon and Bro. Mark Milwee officiating. Burial will be at the Falkville City Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
Mrs. Walling died on October 6, 2023. She was born on January 29, 1943, in Morgan County to Demetrius Judson Lindsey and Alma Dora Childers Lindsey. Mrs. Walling was a lunchroom manager for Hartselle City Schools prior to her retirement. She was a member of First Baptist Church Falkville and enjoyed teaching Sunday School. Mrs. Walling was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Eddie Walling; and two brothers, Dexter Lindsey and Ricky Lindsey.
