THE SHOALS-Due to the local weather forecast, temperatures falling below freezing, and spilling water, the roadway crossing the Tennessee River on the Wilson Dam Roadway will be closed to traffic this afternoon the shutdown began at at 2:00 pm as a safety precaution. The roadway will re-open as weather permits.
