Funeral services for Miss Wilma Kay Bates, age 78, will be held at 2 PM Friday, December 29, 2023, at the Shelton Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Walnut Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 12 noon until service time on Friday.
Ms. Bates, a member of the Main Street Church of Christ in Milan, TN, passed away on Tuesday, December 26, 2023, at NHC Milan, TN.
Ms. Bates was preceded in death by her parents, Horace and Hattie Lomax Bates.
Ms. Bates is survived by two sisters, Maxine Bates Joyner of Milan, TN, and Betty Mason of Pine Bluff, NC; a niece, Donna Mason Littleton and husband Thomas of Creedmoor, NC; and a nephew, Edward Tilson Mason of Lakeland, FL.
