Wilma Jean Weeks, age 82, of Hamilton, Alabama, passed away on Sunday, August 20, 2023, at her residence. She was born in Hamilton, Al, on Saturday, November 23, 1940 to her parents, L.V. and Ora (McCarley) Williams.
She leaves to cherish her memories, her children, Sandra Pearce of Guin, Linda Miller (husband, Jimmy) of Hamilton; daughter-in-law, DeAnna Weeks of Hackleburg; grandchildren, Jennifer Peoples (husband, Tim), Brandy West, Jeremy Miller, Brittany Miller, Jessica Robbins, James Allen Weeks (wife, Brittney); great-grandchildren, Madison, Jarrett (Laken), and Tesney Peoples, Hunter, Amber, and Logan West, Emma, Allye and Pyper Miller, Addison Miller, Bentley Robbins, Maci Mae Motes; great-great-grandchild, Grayson Peoples; brothers, J.R., Donald, Bobby and Micheal Williams; sisters, Earnestine Nethery, Cathy Purser (husband Roger) and Cindy Parrish; a host of other relatives and friends. Special care- givers, Katelyn Williams and Nicole Hulsey.
She was preceded in death by her husband, J.D. Weeks; son, James Weeks, parents, L.V. and Ora McCarley Williams, brother, Larry Williams; sister, Gerldine Chandler.
Visitation is 12-2 p.m. Saturday, August 26, 2023 @ Marion County Funeral Home, service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel with Bro. Todd Clippard officiating and eulogy by Joe Williams. Interment at Hamilton Memory Gardens.
