Wilma Highland Linville was born on July 30, 1933 in Hardin County, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Amie Coburn and Lilly Mae English Highland.
On December 11, 1954, she was united in marriage to Hugh Lawson Linville, who preceded his wife in death on December 14, 1991.
Mrs. Linville was a Certified Nursing Assistant at Harbert Hills Nursing Home. She loved reading the Bible and was a member of Saltillo Pentecostal Church. She also enjoyed babysitting, gardening, and canning vegetables.
Wilma Highland Linville departed this life on January 2, 2023 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 89 years, 5 months, and 3 days.
She is survived by her sons, David Wayne Linville, Ronnie Lee Linville, and Douglas Edward Linville, all of Savannah, Tennessee; sisters, Frankie White of Elsberry, Missouri, Dee Dee Connell of Imperial, Missouri, and Nell Benson of Savannah, Tennessee; grandchildren, Justin, Juliana, Tiffany, Bridget, Crystal, Brennan, Jessie, Aiden, Savannah, Thomas, Lisa, Cassie, and Katrina; and 26 great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, Wilma was preceded in death by her sister, Esterlee Bosley; brother, Colby Highland; grandchildren, Vivian Linville Singleton and Atosha Warwick; and great grandchild, Felix Melson.
