Willodean Timmons Edgil saw the face of her Savior on Monday, May 8, 2023.

Born December 5, 1924, Mrs. Edgil was a godly woman who loved the Lord and her family and set an example for her children and grandchildren that will lead them all their lives.

Mrs. Edgil loved her Savior, the Lord Jesus, with all of her heart, and she loved God’s Word, she was a powerful prayer warrior, and only heaven knows what a wonderful and eternal impact all her many years of faithful praying have had on her family.  She was a member of Townley Freewill Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her Husband-RM Edgil; her Parents-Willie and MaeBelle Hicks Timmons; Brothers-Preston and Hoyt Timmons; Daughter-in-law-Carol Ann Edgil and Son-in-law-Charles Draper.

She is survived by her 3 children, Sons-Jerry Edgil of Florence, Ron Edgil (Shan) of Town Creek and Daughter-Linda Draper of Townley.  She also leaves behind 7 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren.

There will be a visitation at Collins-Burke Funeral Home in Jasper on Friday, May 12 from 11:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. with a graveside service following the visitation at 1:00 p.m. at Walker Memory Gardens.

Grandsons and Great Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
