Willodean Hurst, 85, of Huntsville passed away Thursday, December 13, 2018 at Redstone Village in Huntsville. Visitation will be from 12:30 until 2 p.m. on Sunday, December 16, 2018 at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. with Dr. Tommy Bolan and Phillip Kimbrough officiating. Burial will be in Moulton Memory Gardens.
Willodean was born on December 21, 1932 in Lawrence County, Alabama. A member of First Baptist Church of Meridianville, Alabama, she retired from Calhoun Community College in 1994 where she served as Assistant Business Administrator.
Survivors include her son, Steve Jeffreys (Patricia); grandchildren, David Jeffreys (Beverly), Kathryn Oliver (Jay), and Michael Jeffreys (Heather); great-grandchildren, Leland Jeffreys, Carter Jeffreys, and Sophia Oliver; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Wilburn and Myrtle Hurst; sister, Dorothy Kimbrough; and brother, Malcolm Hurst.
Pallbearers will be David Jeffreys, Michael Jeffreys, Leland Jeffreys, Jay Oliver, Jonathan Richard, and Steve Garner.
