Willodean Boyd Hamm, 88, passed away Friday, September 9, 2022 at her residence. She was born in Alabama to Richard and Evie Boyd. She has worked as a dietitian at Red Bay Hospital for 20 years. She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be Friday, September 16, 2 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, AL with Gerald Collum officiating. Burial will be in Halltown Cemetery. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL will be in charge of arrangements.
She is survived by her husband, Oscar Hamm; five grandsons, Steven Hall, Rob Hall (Misty), Jared Hamm (Crystal), Jason Hamm and Joel Hamm; four great-grandchildren and a host of great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by her parents; son, Frank Hamm and daughter, Peggy Chaffin.
Her grandsons and great-grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
Visitation will be Thursday, September 15, 5-9 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL
