Willie N. Markus, Jr., age 79, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Monday, December 05, 2016 at Southern TN Regional Health System in Lawrenceburg, TN. He was a native of Lawrence County, TN, retired from Murray Ohio, a member of the North Alabama Daylily Society and Deerfield Church of Christ. Mr. Markus served his country in the National Guard.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie N. Markus, Sr. and Ada Viola Davis Markus; two sisters, Mable McGee and Iva Neal Markus; and one brother, William Edward Markus.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday, December 08, 2016 at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 1:00 PM Friday, December 09, 2016. Interment will follow at Lawrence County Memorial Gardens in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.
