Willie-Wicker-Mcdaniel-1434994107Willie Mae Wicker McDaniel was born September 4, 1931 in Selmer, TN the daughter of the late Earnest and Nellie Mae Phillips Wicker.

Mrs. McDaniel worked at Garan Manufacturing in Adamsville as a sewing machine operator. She enjoyed collecting antiques, crocheting and quilting. She loved her grandchildren and spending time with them. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Adamsville, Tennessee.

Mrs. McDaniel departed this life on June 22, 2015 in Adamsville, Tennessee at the age of 83 Years, 9 Months, 18 Days. She is survived by a granddaughter , Amy (Plunk) Gillespie and husband Matt of Henderson, TN; a great-grandson, Riley Plunk; two sisters, Laurina Griffin of Hernando, MS, and Wilma Covan of Alabama; a brother, Billy Wicker of Arkansas.

In addition to her husband, Tommy McDaniel and her parents, Mrs. McDaniel was preceded in death by a daughter, Connie Mae Plunk; a son-in-law, Jimmy Plunk; a grandson, Scotty Plunk.
