No time on earth is long enough to share with someone we love, or to prepare us to say good-bye.

Former Alabama resident Willie Louis Williams, 69 passed away February 10, 2017 at his home in Spokane, WA.

Willie was born in Courtland, AL on February 12, 1947 to Bessie Louise and Louis Williams

He accepted Christ at an early age and joined Garner Memorial CME church. He was a 1966 graduate of Lakeside High School in Decatur, AL.

He touched many lives with his love, compassion and generosity.

He is preceded in death by: his parents, a lifelong companion, Thelma Jean Potter; one god daughter, Janelle Judith Potter; and two brothers-in law; Joe Boulden and Charlie French.

He leaves to cherish his memory: two god sons that he considered his own, David Jude Potter and Michael Potter; seven siblings,  Julia Ann Boulden, Decatur, AL, Peggy Lee Parker (Hollis), Marietta, GA, Claudia Jeanette French, Decatur, AL, Ronald Leon Williams, Decatur, AL, Mildred Priscilla Wyatt (Horace), Decatur, AL, Wanda Faye Ingram (Sebrone), Montgomery, AL, Roy Kennedy Williams, Birmingham, AL; a special friend, Jennifer Bleasdell of Spokane, WA. and host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A Memorial Service will be 1:00 P.M., Saturday at Reynolds Funeral Home with the Reverend Adolphus Elliott officiating.
