Willie Joe Sears, age 75 of Russellville, AL. passed away on Saturday, January 21, 2017 at Terrace Manor Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center.
Willie was a member of Antioch CME Church.
Visitation will be Tuesday, January 24, 11 AM until Noon at Akins Funeral Home Russellville. Funeral services will be Tuesday, January 24, 2017 at Noon in the Chapel of Akins Funeral Home with Rev. Christy Gill officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
He is preceded in death by his wife Shirley Sears, and his parents Joe Henry Sears and Marie Mosley.
Willie is survived by his daughters Patricia Ford, Myra Cooper, and Casandra Vaughn, his sons Willie Sears (Veola), Samuel Sears (Annette), and Michael Hollingsworth, his sisters Arnette Sears, Mildred Carter (John), Vicki Langford, and Rev. Earnestine Mason, brothers L.C. Lyle (LeKeya), Collice Sears (Tommie), Leamon Mosley, Bobby Mosley, Robert Mosley, and Calvin Graham, Nineteen Grandchildren, Twenty Four Great Grandchildren, Brother in-laws and Sister in- laws and a special Uncle Charles “Buck” Sears.
Pallbearers will be grandsons and nephews.
Akins Funeral Home will be assisting the family.
