Willie Gerald Jones, age 89, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Friday, November 10, 2023, at NHC Healthcare of Scott in Lawrenceburg, TN. She was a native of Overton County, TN, a homemaker, and a member of Mt. Zion United Methodist Church. She enjoyed gardening and quilting.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie V. and Audie Webb Green; her husband, Junior Rice Jones; one daughter, Patricia Ann Jones; one son, Darol Keith Jones; three sisters, Charlene Woodard, Emma Jean Pollock, and Pearl Clayton; and three brothers, Earl Green, Estle “Bud” Green and Roy Green.
She is survived by one daughter, Judy Gosselin (Roger) of Lawrenceburg, TN; one son, John Jones of Lawrenceburg, TN; one sister, Ruth Staggs of Nashville, TN; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and one on the way; several nieces and nephews.
Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM Tuesday, November 14, 2023, at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 11:00 AM Wednesday, November 15, 2023, with Billy Beal officiating. Interment will follow at Dunn Cemetery in Lawrence County, TN.
